How can I find out how old a mobility scooter is?

I NEED A PART,for my mobility scooter,and cant find one,its a worm shaft for the axle.Can anyone help?

I think it might be an idea ot approach a vintage or veteran car club and aks them if they know someone who could make it. Those sort of people have things made all the time and usually know the right people. Try googling "vintage cars"
