You'd have to check with your high school counselor. A lot of high school students take coursework at community colleges. (I took International Relations and Psychology the summer after my sophomore year.;-) Depending on your score on the AP exam, the college you eventually attend may give you credit for the AP psychology course but there are no guarantees. If you take and pass the same or a comparable course at your local CC and the units are transferable to the college you plan to attend, then you've got college credit for the course. Why bother with the AP exam?

you should try "joint enrollment" you can get credit for college and high school at the same time. I think financial aid can help you. talk to your adviser or the college you want to go to.
