How do you use a parachute?

Persuasion: The aeroplane you are travelling is going to crash.there are many passengers in the plane, but only one parachute.how will you convince the other people that you are the most important person and thus deserve to use the single parachute?

To answer your question, I don't think I could or should attempt to take the parachute for myself. It's hard to say without being in the situation, though.
