Are there top rope anchors at holcomb valley pinnacle climbing area in big bear, ca?

    Are there trees and boulders you can sling as anchors? All you need is webbing or slings and some biners. I never had trad gear when I started I just found trees that are 6"+ and either slabs or boulders that I could sling.

I haven't climbed there, but if the area is similar to the needles area in S. Dakota, And these are one pitch spires, it's typical that you may have to symo rape. Tracony Nail is one such climb where the spire is so small, but has a notch where you rap one side and your partner raps on the other. What's important when doing this, is that you must be in constant communication with your partner, knowing that they are safely on the ground before you come off repel.
