Many people use Marangu route hence this route has crowd of tourists. The trails are wide and also it has steep during climbing to Gilmans point and Uhuru peak. Rongai route is gentle, wilder and scenic beauty. It is easier to climb Rongai and has less people. You start hiking through Rongai side and descend through Rongai. Any Tourists thinking to trek kilimanjaro, can consider to choose one of them, Marangu or Rongai.
