in vegas stay in the hotel sites In LA look up the closest KOA to where you want to go LA is huge and covers 100s of miles so find a place as close to what you want to see Frisco try the KOA again also if you are a member of good sam or 1000 trails look into there sites In cali the state and county sites fill up fast especially on the weekends most sites near or on the beach need reservations 6 months in advance.
