Where are good places to go camping in california?

Most campgrounds in Southern California are all booked up, but if you can get a spot then go to El Capitan on the Santa Barbara coast. It's clean, has newly redone bathrooms, a gorgeous beach, and big camp sites.

The High country around Bishop Ca. has lots of available camping and has more beauty then Big Bear could ever compare, (as much as I do like Big Bear). My favorite is Oh! ridge camp ground and day use on the June Lake loop. lots of fish, view, deer, bears, open country........ahhhh OH! Ridge

In the mountains try Mt. Pinos near Fraser Park off !5 before gorman follow the signs .

Every year my family and I go on a camping trip in Boundary Waters it is a ton of lakes in Minnesota that you can canoe over and find camp sites to hang out at for the night. this is only for well prepared people so if you are a good camper then this is the place for you. When you get to Minnesota then you can go the a town called Elly it is a cute little town and I plan to move there in a few years .
