Where is a good place to go camping close to Snohomish, Washington?

  • I want to go camping for a night. Nothing fancy, just for a night and I don't want to drive far. (Tent camping)

    I would drive up to Larabee State Park in Bellingham. It's only about an hour, hour and a half away and is perfect for a one night stay. I would try to make reservations if you can, though, because it is a POP-U-LAR campground.

Obviously those people dont live where we live....so....let me think......OK ! drive up Hiway 2 to Money creek camp ground..you know where the tunnel is, there is a road that crosses the river on your lright and the camp ground is on both sides of the road. it's just before skykomish . OR where you turn off to go to Index on the left...follow that road up to Troublesome creek camp ground...really beautiful and wild up there..it is the summer migration area of Sasquatch, or so I have been told by hikers...
