    well of course you need a wireless connection, and to reply to/correct another reply, yes you CAN use aim/msn/yahoo/meetro messenger over ds browser, and I LOVE IT!

Yes. You have to be in a hotspot, or buy the nintendo wifi usb conector [walmart about 40.00]

You can go on the internet if you have a router or wireless connection also you can go on aim because it's going to have flash

Yeah, you have to be near a Wifi connection, no the browser doesn't work with IM, but you can use myspace, etc.
