MP4 to PSP unsupported data?

I put a movie on my PSP as an MP4 into the movies section, but then this shows up as unsupported data?

    Hi, Just to inform you, not all MP4 is playable on PSP. Either you get a converter install in ur PSP or convert your MP4 code directly to suit ur PSP. If your PSP is a old model, most likely, you might need to use the converter. But beware of using converter and MP4 as it might contain virus with will corrupt your PSP software. So do remember to check, scan your files sources before you load it.

its because there are different types of mp4. unless your psp is an old one. is it a slim or phat? what version? cfw or ofw? u can download a converter for psp... but u shud just download stuf already converted for psp. add me 2 msn il show u how 2 do it al [email protected]
