Which good cheap FPS/ Strategy PC game can i play on my Slow Vista non gaming laptop & don't mind 'old' games?

the civilization series is a good strategy franchise and even the more recent ones will probably run on your computer. you control a civilisation and build cities, etc, and decide what to do when you encounter other civilisations: you can wage war, make peace, trade, etc. if you know where to look, you can get the games for free with no viruses.
