  If your willing to do the work. U can release players from another team and pick them up in free agent or u can trade with that team. If u don't know what new players on ur team. Go to NFL.com. Go to ur favorite team and look at their roster to see what new players they have. U can not do it on franchise mode. So do it before u start a franchise. Go to my madden, then NFL rosters. Player management u can release and trade players from team if Necessary. Ur team may have a full roster. When ur finish remember if starting a franchise. On franchise after picking ur team. U need to turn off salary cap. Cause u may go over ur cap. And the computer may release ur players to free the salary cap. And u don't want that to happen cause u be doing all that work for nothing. And it gonna be hard to put them all back on ur team. Like I said ur willing to do the work. Its the only way to update rosters without live. Trust me it work. I do it every year. It may take a while. But it will be worth it.
