Should I softmod my xbox 360?

If I soft-mod my 360 NOT HARD MOD (totally different things), and i still buy original games to go online with.....can I still be banned? The latest 'soft-mod's' uses ...show more

Microsoft also scans for the version of the desktop you are using... a soft mod will change this, and you'll be banned. If you want to ever play on Live with your 360, DO NOT MOD IT IN ANY WAY.

yeah man if u ain't gonna get caught go for it but if there's a risk i say hell no lol i wouldn't risk it if there was a chance i would get banned i would die without xbox live.
