Are California blackouts dangerous?

IS CALIFORNIA STILL DOING THE ROLLiNG BLACKOUTS?

  • whats the deal with that??-i would move-my mom lives in vegas(uses more electricty than hong kong)and they nevey get blackouts, the schwartz needs to fix this b4 anything else

  • Answer:

No, that stopped years ago. That particular problem has mostly been fixed already. I would prefer that "the schwartz" focus on some of our other critical issues, really. Um, what does fainting have to do with rolling blackouts? PG&E coordinated the rolling blackouts based on which grids were using the most power. They'd turn one off for a couple of hours, then turn it back on when they turned off the next. It's a small team of people flipping a switch, and had nothing to do with the general population. We didn't flip the switches here at work...the power company did it for us.

omg just because he is strong doesn't mean the governor should be able to punch anyone he wants

What I never understood about California's rolling blackouts is this: California has A LOT of people. How do they coordinate the order in which people faint? That seems like too much work; kind of like organizing a statewide "wave" - those things don't even work at ballparks, let alone a state.
