    you CANNOT have a layout, but you CAN add music. Search "profile song" in your search, and look for the app. Anyone can listen to it, including you, and you can pick literally ANY song you want. I used to hate facebook, especially because of how different it was from myspace. But once you add all of your friends, you really get addicted. It's somehow amusing to see your friends' updates, posts, etc., and comment on them and such. Don't get discouraged by the fact that facebook isn't flashy or anything. It is perhaps the greatest, safest, and most ingenuous social networking site out there. Have fun, and enjoy facebooking!

You can have your own Facebook skin/background. The downside is that only you will be able to see it....although when your friends see it on your PC, they'll ask 'How do you do that?' The upside is that it will make your Facebook experience that much more pleasurable. Here's how to do it... Firstly, it only works in Firefox. Internet Explorer does not have this feature. You can get that here : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108 Click on 'Add To Firefox'. When it's installed, close Firefox down and then re-start it. The final stage is choosing your Facebook skin. There are loads to choose from. They are here : http://userstyles.org/styles/site/facebook.com The latest ones are at the bottom of the page. Most styles have been updated for the latest redesign, but, some may not have been. Choose one you like, and click on 'Load into Stylish. You can change your mind at any time. To choose a different one, in Firefox, click on Tools -> add-ons, then click on the 'Options' button for Stylish. Uncheck the style you have added, then go back to http://userstyles.org/styles/site/facebook.com and choose a different one.

You can't put a layout on your profile or add music, if you want that go to MySpace, sorry =(

There are no layouts for facebook, and there is no option of adding music either. Sorry.
