Myspace vs Facebook, differences?
-
What are the differences? Can people see when you're online on FB? Can they tell you looked them up? Is it more private than MS?

Answer:
Facebook: -You cannot change the background of your screen -the only people that can see your page are your friends and anyone that you send a message to via facebook -has many apps -you can set up the chat to be shown as offline or online -you have a facebook inbox and a writing wall -you can poke your friends...without feeling anything -you can become a fan of many known products and such -you can start a group without too many hackers coming to it -you can upload photos and use picnik to alter them -parents can edit the account settings...when they set up the site with their children

You can see who is online by using the Facebook chat. Unlike Myspace, you can't tell just by visiting a profile. No, they can't tell if you looked them up via a search. I no longer use Myspace, mainly because I know more people who use Facebook. I also like how Facebook has a much more organized and clean feeling to the website. It does tend to have a bit more privacy as well. If your looking to stay in touch with friends, family, schoolmates, ex co-workers, etc it's probably the best website to do so. If you are wanting to meet new people or just people to chat with online, then Myspace would be the better choice.

I BELIEVE THEY CANT SEE WHEN YOUR ONLINE ON FACEBOOK... NO...NO ONE CAN SEE IF YOU LOOK THEM UP ON EITHER ONE... I GUESS THE SAME...FACEBOOK IS PLAIN AND THERES NO THAT MUCH TO DO AND MYSPACE HAS MORE OPTIONS AND YOU CAN HEAR MUSIC AND STUFF BUT I THINK THAT IT DEPENDS WHAT TYPE OF PPL...

Hello
I think FB is confusing as heck to naviagate. MS is definitely more user friendly. Problem is, more people us MS. Here is my list of the pros and cons of both. PROS MS has more users MS has a lot of fun features MS is user friendly FB is more private FB safer for computer FB safer for kids CONS MS gives you nasty spyware, and can literally ruin a computer MS is not private, unless you make it that way FB is not as 'fun' as MS FB is very hard to figure out and navigate
