i have Windows Instant Messenger. WHen i pull it up, I have no tool bar at the top with "FILE" "EDIT" "TOOLS" etc buttons, it only displays the people in my office that i can send messages to how do i erase my history?

Check out your setting by the following steps: Tools - Options - Messages Message History and you'll find the folder where keeps your WLM history. If you ever changed the path of MSN/WLM Messengers, then you get to recall the path you've changed. Cheers
