How do i prevent my mum from seeing my MSN chats?

    Well, for all I know, the chats your having with your mates are automatically getting saved to your laptop, meaning, you dont have to be logged into your msn account to view your chat logs

Your mum probably has your account traced somehow... I'll be honest, i don't know much about computers so i don't know how you should prevent that from happening and since you also have the problem of having your account on her laptop, the only thing i can figure out is trying to switch accounts without telling her and then make up a cover story to tell her like "i'm getting tired of msn..." something like that. It might give you lots of work to gather up all your contacts again but it's the easiest way and the only one i can remember... good luck
