1.start > controll panel > add/remove programs > wl messanger 2. check C> program files> wl messanger and make sure NOTHING is there. delete it all. 3.empty recyle bin for added drama 4.just re-install from scratch

try updating ur computer first and then try taking it out .... after u restarted it ...
