My windows live messenger won't work?

I have the windows live messenger 2009 and i installed the new plus live and it wont work!!?

have u cheeked ur control panel if msn plus show up then u have installed properly but if it doesn't show up then its not have been installed properly. download it from here http://www.msgplus.net/download/

Its because 'Windows Live Messenger 2009 Plus!' hasn't been released yet. The 'Plus' team normally make the update ready for the Windows Live Messenger release, but this time this hasn't happened. All it means is your going to have to wait a while, Plus will be released soon, they just need to add on a few things thats all. You can either download the older Windows Live and wait a while to download the new one again, or you could just wait for the Plus update to be released. (: Hope this helped.
