What happened to Hotmail?

HELP! WHAT HAPPENED TO MY HOTMAIL??????!!!!!!!!?

    I feel so much better that it's not just me. I was just about in tears when I decided to try and google my problem since nothing I tried on hotmail/msn would work and it also kept saying that my supposed email address that I don't have isn't available. I've been using my email all day and then all of a sudden it tells me to refresh my page and then I'm told I don't have an inbox but all of my contacts are there. I was so scared! Hopefully MSN will fix this problem quickly and give me back all my saved emails.

Yes, everyone relax. I was on hotmail about 25 minutes ago and restarted and thought it was an update as well. But more then likely a server crash as I deal with this stuff on a daily basis. If you try to ping www.hotmail.com it will time out meaning the server is down and unreachable for the moment. So no worries all. Best Regards.

thank god its not just me. lol. i narrowed it down to 2 people i thought would hack it. lol You’ll get the "Sign up for Windows Live Hotmail. You're currently using another service for e-mail, but it's easy to sign up for Windows Live Hotmail” message when you are signed in using a non-Hotmail account to any Windows Live or MSN site and you clicked a link for Hotmail. To access your mailbox properly, make sure that you’re not currently signed in using a non-Hotmail account. If you’re being signed in automatically, sign out first then log in using your Windows Live Hotmail e-mail account. To do this:1. Go to www.msn.com 2. Click "Sign out." 3. Go to www.hotmail.com 4. Log in using your e-mail and password.I also suggest that you access your Windows Live Hotmail account directly at www.hotmail.com or http://mail.live.com instead of the http://home.live.com site. if not, we may have to wait this out
