So if the Call of Duty tutorial video you're trying to watch happens to be on the same server as What What (In The Butt) #2: Electric Buttaloo, it's going to be slow until the load-balancing manages to redistribute the popular videos evenly across the servers. This question is ridiculously naive to begin with - even the most popular porn video site won't have even 1/100th the amount of traffic as Youtube as a whole. You might as well be asking "durr, why is it that I can drive faster on a road in the middle of Wyoming than I can on the Los Angeles Freeway, is this because the Los Angeles Freeway is possibly MISMANAGED??? *does Colbert pose*".

its based on what area the server the video on is in based on your position from it, and most of the time your paying to watch porn, so that means in order to make customers happy they make it so their servers are fast for their customers.

Quality my friend. Most porn videos on these ridiculous websites are set to a horrible resolution, therefore horrible quality, meaning it will load faster.

For one you have to consider the video quality. If the porn is highly-compressed 240p it may actually come close in size to a YouTube video. Coupled with bandwidth issues and stuff...

I gotta say some youtube videos do load extremely slow, exspecially stuff on vevo omg. As for porn, must have better servers or something idk, bigger industry I guess.

YouTube has been all sorts of f'd up since its big reformat. It's like a bunch of office monkeys that throw crap at each other (literally) put it together. At least they extended the video length limit from 10 to 15 minutes.
