How to get really good at snowboard park riding?

  People say the board should go up to your chin but its really more a factor of how much you weigh and where your center of gravity is as I understand it. If you want a park board that kills rails and jibbs I'd recommend something like the Lib Tech Skate Banana. My GNU carbon credit BTX would also work for you. These boards are also great on jumps, and they make it very hard to catch an edge because of the rocker camber. Makes coming off tricks easier, less likely to eat sh!t in that moment where you are still regaining control. Downside is they don't carve as well and aren't as stable at high speeds as other boards. And on BIG jumps the lack of stability makes landings tricky. They also don't have the speed to be great on pipes, but they are good to learn pipes with since you won't need too much speed early on. They hold edges well to get up the pipe well thanks to Magna trak. Your K2 is all about speed, stability, and controlled good carving. All mountain board with some emphasis on pow runs from what I can tell in the stats and the Flat-rocker camber with a set back stance. Interesting board. I wonder if the fact its both too long for you and set back is what gives you a problem.
