What kind of snowboard do I need?

How many times do you need to wax your snowboard and is there a certain kind i should get?

  where I live the weather changes often, so I wax mine with the right wax every time the temperature changes by a lot. I have no problems, and sometimes even skip it. I agree with the first answer though, if you're not competing it isn't that imparetive that you do it every day or anything. If it's -20 for 20 days, I won't wax mine the whole time.
