    this is going to be my second season of snowboarding and i have a 2005 lamar cruiser. many people have told me that lamars are crap, but i like mine cause it is a real nice board for learning. i got it on sale last thanksgiving for $180, so the price has probably gone down since then. after this year i plan to upgrade to a burtin, k2, ride or something a little nicer, but for beginners, i like my lamar

always use rentals for the first 3 times because alot of people end up changing there mind. after you have desided if your going to be a snowboarder go to any snowboard shop and ask for some help from someone who works there, they will be able to find u the perfect board :)
