Hmm, Surface - No Time are some really nice beginner twin tip skis. They have a lot of pop and are pretty lightweight, and is very good for skiing switch. They're cheaper than most skis, and also look pretty sweet. Another good brand of skis that I've had previous experience with are some Armada skis.
