Jon is definitely right about wearing only one pair of socks. if you have to wear bigger boots because of the thick socks, they could not fit right and you could injure your ankle or foot. fleece is great to wear if you wear a waterproof jacket over it. then you wont get wet and the fleece will still keep you warm. goggles are always great, especially if it's windy
