    I would suggest getting a good set but not too expensive because as you grow and get better you will most likely get a new pair fairly quickly. Go to a local shop and try some on for comfort and stability. Once you figure out the ones you want, check online to see if you can get a better price.

Hey there I can help you out to determine what is best for you. Your height, weight and ability level is what is used to figure out what size and type of ski you should get. As far as boots go, I would look up your US shoe size and see what it converts into "Mondo sizing" which is how ski boots are sized. There are a lot of great deals online for your type of stuff! but I would at least get sized for boots at your local shop first to understand what the proper fit of ski boot feels like.
