If you are willing to risk the future of your family on outright guesses and/or deception from supposed psychics, I think you are in deeper trouble than you realize. My advice is to use your own mind and reason this through. These are tough economic times, maybe you should wait for December and be willing to do the transfer if the opportunity arises. You can always move back to Kent if you find another job while you're still employed in Lincolnshire.
