How do I run in the winter without buying expensive workout clothes?

I live in NE and it is freezing here. I have never spent more than $12.00 on an item of clothing for running (aside from shoes). Stores like Walmart and Kmart have knockoff versions of UA or drifit. I get all my outerwear for running at Goodwill, found the best jacket there with all the right pockets, zippered, made by the makers of the swiss army knife, best jacket EVER..for 3 bucks. :). Just layer up and get out there! :)

I'm a wrestler so i always have to watch and lose weight, i always run a couple miles outside and i live in upper Ohio. It can get decently cold here, honestly the easiest and simpliest way of doing the running outdoors. is more clothing..put on a sweater or 2 and big jacket, then long johns and sweat pants. Just make sure you have a pretty good pair of running shoes that will keep your feet warm.
