  Realistic for a new younger person band. Playing in a club. Utube videos, local morning news programs, some chanels bring in local talent once a week.Local radio programs soemtimes have local spotlights for local bands, they play thier music invite them in to speak or play their music on certain days of the month. Go to local charity events and see if you can play there, or skating events, or get a city permit to have a summer gig at a park. Use the media as much as you can, use less trash creating means, as in fliers, make one quarter page fliers, put at local trendy clothing stores, sporting goods stores, piercing parlors, music stores. If people start slapping up your stickers, like they often do, you can be charged with the clean up, seen it happen in So Cal many many times, its real expensive. Print out a few tshirts, simple easy to read, Blastoff then under it put, Dvds now for sale in more camoflaged letters ie graffiti style, so you dotn feel like a walking billboard! Look for discussion groups online that are about bands, join and spread the word. Utube really hits so many people and there are people who constantly look for new music online.
