What is a customer service rep?

What's the difference bet. a customer service rep and customer service associates?

  • Any specific task that they differ or level of responsibilitie, were both are in customer service, thnaks!!! Hav a nice day!

  • Answer:

I think it's just whatever the company decides to call you; it's all the same thing. I think technically speaking, according to definition, a Customer Service Representative is supposed to have slightly more power or serve more as a Supervisor. But in reality, it's the same damn thing. A company that wants you to feel special and important will probably call you a Customer Service Representative, while a company that doesn't really give a **** will call you a Customer Service Associate. They call me a Sales Associate, haha. Guess I'm pretty disposable.
