How can I sell things on ebay?

How can i sell things on ebay to people ONLY in my area?

    So you want to indicate Local Pickup Only on every Ebay listing? Most people even who live near you wont want to pick up in person except something very heavy. The buyer pays you for the item and they also pay you for shipping cost. The post office will pick up your packages at home for no charge if you use Priority shipping and print your own label. You do that in your shipping section when you create a listing. You must put your location specifically in the listing so they know where you are. You write in the listing that item is for pick up in the local ----------- area only.

eBay Classifieds is localized like Craigslist. The one below covers my area so you will have to change the default location to where you are. eBay Classifieds is the only area of eBay that allows animal sales as well. It will probably have fewer listings than Craigslist and there are still fees involved. Items bought and sold on the Classifieds section are not covered by eBay buyer protection nor will there be any seller protection. I do not believe feedback can be left either.

Geez, stick to Craigslist until you hve money to pay postage, you charge the Ebay buyers shipping fees, so you get that money right back. Your chance of making a connection with a local through Ebay is just not that great. you might be looking at less than 1% of potential buyers, others have trouble selling enough to the whole country. Stick to just 1 ad a day on Craigslist so your don't get vanned or ghosted.
