    Yes and No and heres why, Big corporations have marketing advisory managers to tell them how and where to market and they are trusted and have experience to make good choices and they wont trust some random guy. Thats the No the Yes is if they want to hear what the people say like what they think of this or that. Kind of like testing the waters. You wanna know if the water is Cold or Hot. In sales you want hot so sometimes they get on here and they see if people agree with them by saying "Is _________ a good marketing choice?" Then they see what the people say if the people mostly like it they will use it becuse they know most people will like it and buy w/e they are selling. If they dont like it then they will make a new choice and come to us. Thats all i have to say i hope it was good enough.

No. Way too low of quality in many terms. Larger companies (beurocratci cluelessness notwithstanding) have had marketing intelligence of this sort down to a science since, at the very latest, 1912.

I dont know, but... I think it would be a sneaky and unethical way for Yahoo to deliberately use the ppl who ask and answer questions. If they did, I'd quit every use of Yahoo. Meaning, I'd use my own ISP email addy and quit my Yahoo accounts, I'd quit using Y!A, and all other uses I have for Yahoo. A one-person boycott, b/c it wouldnt be right to not tell Yahoo users up front. For this, I suspect that your answer is no.
