There are so many reasons why NOT to get tattoos, why do people get tattoos?

- Tattoos aren't the only risk of infection in the world. You could say the same thing about getting procedures done or accidentally cutting yourself with scissors. As long as the wound stays clean, there's very little risk. - That's extremely ignorant. Not everyone shares your beliefs. - Okay, so you know two guys with tattoos. So do I, and both their tats are awesome. Try again. - That has nothing to do with the tattoos themselves. That's their own fault if they didn't bother to even properly translate. - As the person below me said, portraits have to be done by extremely professional artists. Just because the people you know weren't willing to actually get a quality portrait done, doesn't mean you have to bag on everyone with tats. Good day sir.

Judging by all your descriptions, you only seem to be familiar with crap work done by cheap backyard scratchers who call themselves artists. -If someone goes to a clean reputable shop there is no chance of disease. Also, an infection isn't the result of the artist or the workmanship, it's a result of poor aftercare. -Not everyone shares your religious views on tattoos. I'm not even going to get into a religion debate, I'm an atheist, the whole concept of a man in the clouds and the fact millions of people can actually believe something as ridiculous as that truly baffles me. -Poor tweety and superman tattoos = you get whut you pay for with ink. Cheap tattoos aren't good and good tattoos aren't cheap. If they went to a reputable artist they wouldn't have s h i t for ink. -Wrong Chinese lettering is due to the fact most people are using a cheap internet translator. That is their mistake, but they don't know and most people that see it don't know of the errors either. -Portrait tattoos are extremely hard to do, and should only be done by a skilled and reputable professional. These people chose to have cheap work so it's their problem. A lot of people get professional work done and spend a lot of time coming up with an idea. They usually end up with a beautiful piece of work. People get tattoos, you don't get tattoos. We don't have to explain why we get them or why we like whut we like. Why do you people with no tattoos constantly ask and judge us? You don't see anyone of us looking down on you for choosing to not have ink, that's mainly because we aren't as narrow minded as you. It shows individuality! As for religion not everyone agrees with you and if you happen to have your ears pierced, what's that any different from getting tatted? You are still harming your temple. Also if you go to a good artist and have meaning behind your tattoo, you won't regret it. Those people that judge us for getting tattoos need to chill it's our bodies so why do you even care?
