Well, you need to do what you want. If you want to get one, do it. I personally dont care whats in style or not. It shouldn't matter, especially if you REALLY want it.

the tattoo is for you, it is on YOUR body. who cares if other people have it too? especially since it is to commemorate such an important moment in your life. i bet THAT is the reason so many people have it, because it is so important to them. i think it's a good idea to celebrate your child's birth. i hope you don't plan on having a whole bunch of kids, though. cause then you'd have to get a tattoo for each kid! good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!!
