I'm newly unemployed and have been offered a job working less that 16 hours a week, what are the implications?

Does this mean the company doesnt pay my nat insurance/stamp? do i needto ask them to employ me for 16 hours or more minimun. Not sure why they made a point of saying you do realise ...show more

They are informing you it less than 16 hours a week because you can still claim some benefits (Job Seekers Allowence) but you cannot claim tax credits. I would finds a job with an hours more work, you will be better off in the long run.
