Can I still get a good grade on the AP World History test if I wrote about the wrong topic on the final essay?

Dude....I took the test this morning too. The test was literally TEN TIMES easier than any practice test I have taken. But still, I guessed on probably more than half the questions, cause they were simple things I couldn't remember O_o. But as for the essays: DBQ was hella easy, except - I put in the missing document right before time was up, cause I forgot about it, and probably didn't get that point. As for the change over time, I had to bullsh*t almost the whole essay, and it ended up being like 6 pages lol. I don't even know what the hell I talked about. And the last essay - I didn't read it wrong at first, but I can see how someone could. And yes, it was an unfair question, but in turn makes it just as fair for everone else, being hopefully the test will be on a huge curve. I think I got a 4 or 5, but i'm not sure. Your still likely to get AT LEAST a 3; my friend last year thought she did horrible and had to bs an essay and ended up getting a 5!

oh! you read it as radical? hmm i dont think so! they'll still give you the thesis support point and some others you will most likely score a 3 on that essay. overall i think your ok. i thought that question was completly unfair! i didnt study ideology's at all! or north america cause i thought that was AP US HISTORY! i woulda much rather compared the tokogowa shogunate and qing china

was urs the radiol thing between america and latin america, it was hard as hell. All of my class failed(including me)

A BUNCH of people read "racial" as "radical," including myself. Like others have said, it's all curved, so the fallout shouldn't be horrible. As long as you did well on your other two essays and MC, you should be fine. Probably a four.

Yeah if you did great on the multiple choice and other two essays. Ummm yeah what the hell racial ideology? I just did the African slave trade with North America, then I did the social differances in Latin America like the vestisos and creols and stuff........yeah man its ok tho ya know? Just as long as you left room for a mistake by doing marvelous on the other stuff:)

oh my gosh! i took the test today too. the 3rd essay was rather confusing but i just wrote what i knew. hopefully they'll give us a big curve. wish us all luck on getting a 5!!!!!!!!

I think you can still pass the test if you did passably well on the multiple choice and your other essays. Just don't expect a 5 for sure. I know of someone who left out the last essay on last year's exam and still got a 4. If I were you I wouldn't worry too much, I know a lot of people who messed up at least one of their essays, and I think they will pass. Personally I thought the DBQ and the last question were the easiest essays, I had a really great time writing the last one :) But I see how the question could be confusing.

A lot of people in my school also misread the last question for "radical" instead of "racial". In a way, I think that question was unfair. My teacher even said that North American racial ideologies involve slavery and all that and that involves more of American History than general World History. Anyways, since so many people have read the last question wrong, I'm looking forward to a BIG curve. I think that you will still get a good grade overall. Let us know how you did.

Me too. I read radical instead of racial. But I think I was a bit on topic nonetheless. I rushed too much reading it.
