Are my SAT scores good enough for these schools?

High HS GPA, LOW SAT scores. Which schools should I apply for?

  • UW gpa is 3.9 SATs: Verbal - 540 Math - 550 Writing - 550 SAT IIs (just gave them a shot): Math II - 480 Chemistry - 510 ethnicity is a minority

    You're in California? Consider UC Irvine with Riverside or Santa Cruz as a backup? Boston U is pretty hard to get in to. Not sure why someone mentioned those. What ethnicity are you? Unless you're black and maybe Latino, ethnicity doesn't help you that much (oh, cept for Native American). Your socio-economic group is better (if it's low). If you're Asian and applying to a UC, that's a negative.

whoa.... its a bit late for you start thinking about which schools you should apply for.... your sats are pretty low... i don't know if you can get anywhere with that.. unless you have some AP courses... but you could try Boston Univeristy
