I'm a junior and I'm taking AP Physics, AP European History, and AP Music Theory and signed up for all 3 AP exams. I'm thinking of going to schools like UCSD, UCLA or even ...show more

Answer:
1. They most likely wont if you didn't send them 2. It would be pretty pointless to cancel your AP exam score, as i will explain in 3 3. Getting a 1 or a 2 on the AP exam is better than having a blank space for your AP exam score next to your AP class, because if they see that you at least tried to take the AP exam, then they will acknowledge that you tried your best on the test. Getting an A in an AP class and at least getting a 2 on the AP exam is better than getting an A in an AP class and not having a score for the AP exam for that class.

1. When you apply to college, the application has an area where you indicate your AP exam scores. Since your HS transcript will list the classes you take, it would look odd for you to not report your scores and it would be a dead giveaway that you scored low on the tests, so either way you are screwed :(. 2. You don't have to tell colleges your score. If you want to cancel, I think you have to do so before you leave the testing center after you take the test. 3. Your exam score should correlate with your grade in the class. If you have an A in the class, you should get a 5 on the exam. Any discrepancy would hurt you. Would a college accept a person with all 2's on their exams or all 5's? You still have enough time to buy a Barron's review book and study and get a 3+.

1. I don't think so, but if they see on your transcript that you took AP and don't have your scores, they may wonder why not.... 2. Yes you can. Definitely. Go to this link and look under "Score Cancellation". You just have to fill out a form and mail it in. http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/exgrd_rep.html 3. Hard to say, maybe you should ask a college counselor, or simply ask the representative from the college. PS - I don't think you'll get a 1 or 2 :) If you need some preparation, here are some sample multiple choice and free response topics from past years along with potential responses and grading sheets, etc. Plenty o' resources here. http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/ap/eurohistory/samp.html?eurohist Best of luck, I have to take the AP English Language exam next week and I'm sooo freaking out!
