The SAT is the big test everyone talks about(2400 pts): 3 sections each 800 pts. They are Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. The SAT is a standardized test to see how YOU compare with other students in the nation. Colleges can see if you're better or worse than the avg.. The SAT Subject tests are test which test you on A SPECIFIC SUBJECT, hence subject test. Some are Math Lv. 1 & 2, History, Chem, Biology, Physics, etc. You usually want to take them AFTER you take the class for that subject and have a B+ or better. You only need to take upto 3 subject tests. There's only 1 SAT test(the one that REALLY counts). No Sweat. Take classes a couple months before you take the test & take the sub. test after you take the class. You can find prep classes ALMOST EVERYWHERE. Just look around.
