Could I take eighth grade online at home?

If im home schooled and want to go to public school for 9th grade do i have to take a entrance exam?

Probably not an entrance exam as much as a placement exam, so that the school can figure out what grade to put you in. But you should look up your local laws and regulations to find out.

Not in an American state school. So long as your parents live in/pay tax in the school district (or a required geographic area) you can get in.

Every state has its own laws regarding education, but public schools *have* to take students. If your parents have kept decent records of what you've done, the school will likely just have you start with 9th grade. (It would be different if you entered after 9th grade, when they would have to determine which classes they would give you credit for.) A few schools *might* want you to take an exam, but most public schools these days base grade placement more on age than on academic accomplishments. To be sure, call your local school and ask them.
