  i know exactly how you feel, my mom recently just went back to work and she wasnt sure if homeschooling this year would be a good choice for me, but despite what everyone thinks there are ways of homeschooling when parents dont need to teach you. you can do it online or by correspondence (books), and it doesnt cost anymoney, infact my school gives me $2500 dollars to get what ever i need for the year, so if i neeeded a laptop i would go out and buy one and they would give you all of that money back. :) i wanted to homeschool ever since grade 5 because my friends were always bickering and fighting over me but my mom said with her work it wouldnt be possible but, now im in grade 9 and ive been homeschooling for 2 years now and its been a fuin experience! at the time when i was still convincing my parents another one of my friends was going to be homeschooling and i just said "well if hes homeschooling then im homeschoolin i dont wanna be alone!! ughh..(lol) and i just convinced them that i would get up early and do all my work even if they were there or not and that they could trust me" and sure enouigh they let me try it in grade 8 and it been great, its hard to teach yourself sometimes but your teacher's are a great help. good luck, my friend! and i hope this helps! :) "keep er' lit" p.s.~ the sleeping in part and doing school on your own schedule is another graet benefit! and now that my oms working i just go into town with her and do my school at the library (thats where i am right now) because you have the internet and all the books you need. i really feel for you and i know how frusterting it can be to convince your parents but dont give up! i didnt and it was so worth it! :) Good luck! again, i hope this helps you out a bit!
