-Fire Station visit-they will ether come to you or you can visit them-have a sit on the fire engine, look around station, try on hat etc. It's part of "people who help us" really but can be linked to 'i am special'. -Local park-see the area they live in, their community etc...what do they see whilst on the walk...their home, their shops etc. -Do local childrens centre hold any events, any music classes that you can take them too-nothing says "I am Special" more than learning a new skill or showing off a talent!

I don't now if there are any carnivals going on, but most of the time they have a house of mirrors- kids love looking at themselves in the funny mirrors and you can ask them how they look different than they normally do in the fun mirrors versus a regular mirror. You can also do a show and tell or a family day.
