Why the heck is a Sierra Turkey Sandwich from Panera bread unhealthier than a double whopper from Burker King?

Because Pantera Bread snadwiches come with their Secret Stain Sauce that has a lot of protein and calories.

When our Panera's first opened I was eating the turkey spinach and arrtichoke w onion soup. Then i came home and checked the calorie and fat and almost fainted. It has to be butter and cheeses and the breads because I thought i was eating healthy also. The past two yrs.I notice panera has changed the portion size and calories and fat to make it look better (on their web site)not has high in caloires and fat but it was like over 50 grams for the turkey spinach sandwich. ridiculous. so now i only treat myself once in while..maybe once every two months. makes me sad.lol

Many of their breads are made largely with butter. There are some healthy choices but not many. I recommend the Chicken Noodle Soup and Fuji Apple or Asian Chicken Salads 1/2 and 1/2. Those are pretty healthy. Some sandwiches can be made healthy also. Panera coats their inner sandwiches ESPECIALLY THE SIERRA TURKEY with mayonnaises of all flavors.. yes weird. The Sierra Turkey Sandiwhc does include 2 slices of bacon and a thick slice of gouda cheese along with a cheese bread.. :\
