  i travelled to velankanni a couple of years back. i had planned to board the chennai - nagore express which was introduced in the rail timetable almost two years before my journey. i was to alight at nagapattinam. you would be surprised to know that the train has still not started. the ernakulam - nagore express was introduced in 2009-2010 years timetable. dont expect it to start this soon. more the track at vailankanni is expected to complete in this financial year of the railways. but it always gets delayed. but you would never know what comes your way. do check before travelling. God might just help you.
