    i have had what is called a strep throat rash, feels like sand paper and looks like tons of tiny zit heads, itchy and red....all down my back and neck. went to the er because it was a very weird looking rash. she took one look and said.....you have strep. white spots on the back of your throat, red, swelling, painful, fever and ect ect. i usually get strep 3 days after flying in an airplane. you could make easy money off of that bet. the last time i flew i ended up with the worst case i ever had. recycled air is nasty. and in a lot of pain.....

Just under the back of your jaw bone there are some glands. They will swell up with strep throat and will be a bit sensitive to the touch. Also look in the back of your throat for little white spots. That is where the puss builds up. Andunless you've had strep throat four or five times within one year, they will not take out your tonsils. I've had mine taken out and I got strep 6 times in one year.
