i have Flight Simulator X and it works great on DELL XPS. If you want it to load really quickly then you should lower all the settings in the game. PS. MSFLX is awesome!!

Just about any computer can run FS2004; FSX runs a lot more slowly on the same hardware, but it will still run. A decent gaming PC will run FS2004 with all sliders topped out, and will run FSX with moderate settings fairly well. Laptops are not ideal for MSFS (or for most other games, for that matter), because they tend to lack horsepower, especially video horsepower. But they will still run MSFS, particularly FS2004. It can be awkward to fly without a joystick, although the keyboard is more functional than one might think (FSX also allows use of the mouse).
