I have a porsche 914 2 liter flat 4 andd I wanted some more power.?
-
I was wondering if I should turbo charge the engine or try and get a flat six. Also are there any porsche 914 compatible engines that I should look for.
-
Answer:
The 6 fits perfectly. It is an easy conversion if you can get a 911 engine. There really is no other easy conversion to do. The 2.0 liter was the largest 4 cylinder made. A turbo is not a good idea because the compression ratio is too high, so you would get damaging pre-ignition.
