How can an individual get sponsorship for attending a conference?

What are the benefits i will get by attending the International Embedded Systems conference/Exhibition?

  There are various conferences/Exhibitions happening all over the world.  The bigger communities like IEEE make it happen more often and that depends on your area too i.e. how much is the promotion done for it and the number of enthusiasts.  Conferences like ESC India which is about to happen in Bangalore are such a huge opportunity for anyone to learn and actually explore the realm of embedded systems.  International Conferences are in abundance like RTCSA,CARE, IEEE conferences (a lot in number) , INDICON, PECCS, ICRA ... I really can't remember all the names but attending them is worth of it. Benefits: 1. If you are thinking of yourself present in the market someday with big boots ;) then you gotta equipped yourself with Networking(yeah!!  thats the key, man!!).  A lot number of people who are Entrepreneurs, Senior Engineers and even scientists come to these conferences and presents and duhhhh!! you get a chance to get an interaction with them.  2. I can't explain how, but as I feel it does increases your confidence, because when you attend, you tend to participate (may be) and then you may speak off And when you speak of the world notices you. And also,(may be) looking at others you get inspire for doing great things too.    3.Obvious one- you will get to know the latest in research and market i.e. the products and ideas. If you are one of the first timers, then please do give a deep look onto the Events at a glance, and the schedule or the Topics and speakers out there, otherwise sometimes your time and money both can go non-productive(probably).  International Conferences are usually more valuable considering the above mentioned points
